Firing Temperature 1120°C – 1280°C
Many potters want to achieve the attractive, speckled effect that reduction firings give to clay, but this is not usually possible in an electric kiln. Some flecked clays have been introduced in the past, however, we believe this is the most successful one yet. ES90 Flecked Stoneware, when fired in an electric kiln, gives the attractive, speckled effect of a reduction firing. Based on our ES80 reduction body, this clay performs well and is ideal for the production of domestic tableware.
