Firing Temp 1080-1220?C

Smooth black textured is good for sculptures, hand building. This clay has been specially formulated to fire between 1080 – 1220?C with very low shrinkage. Its attractive colour and texture give PF670 a very distinctive character. (Results may vary)

The higher you fire black clays, the darker they become.

The range of black clays may not work well with majority of glazes.

Scarva Professional Black Clay bodies, PF660, PF670 & PF680 are not suitable for making domestic tableware.
